Who we are

The GOAT PowerHour is a free, pay-it-forward personal development project from Mr Purple, the business coaching practice of Dr Tom Hitchcock, based in New South Wales. We are bound by the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.

What this website collects

This site has no forms, and it uses no analytics or advertising cookies. Like any website, our web host keeps standard server logs, such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested, to keep the site running and secure.

Registering for an event

You register on Eventbrite, not on this site. Eventbrite passes us your name and email address as the organiser. Eventbrite's own privacy policy covers what it collects. If you watch a session on LinkedIn Live, LinkedIn's privacy policy applies to that. Sessions are not recorded.

How we use your details

To send you the joining link, reminders and any changes to the event.

Where you have agreed to it, to tell you about future GOAT PowerHours and other Mr Purple events. Every one of those emails has an unsubscribe link, and we act on it.

We do not sell your details, and we do not pass them to anyone else to market to you.

Who we share it with

Only the services we need to run the event: Eventbrite for registrations, GoHighLevel for our emails, and Zoom and LinkedIn to run the session. Some of these store information outside Australia, including in the United States.

How long we keep it

For as long as you stay in touch with us, then we delete it or remove the details that identify you.

Access, correction and complaints

You can ask to see the details we hold about you, or to correct them. Email tom@mrpurple.com.au and we will respond within 30 days.

If you are not satisfied, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au or on 1300 363 992.
